BCRF's Research Accomplishments Over the Past 15 Years BCRF-funded research has helped save lives and significantly improved the quality of care and survivorship for tens of thousands of breast cancer patients in the past decade and a half. The research itself has revealed that "cure" is a mosaic made up of as many approaches to diagnosing, treating, preventing and surviving as there are different types of breast cancer. >> read more BCRF given top ratings by Charity Navigator and the American Institute of Philanthropy 4-Stars for seven consecutive years from Charity Navigator, and an A+ from the AIP. BCRF is the only breast cancer-related organization to be able to make this claim. >> read more BCRF Scientific Conference, October 2008 BCRF "think-tank" retreat, held in New York City on October 28, 2008, generated inquiry and action. Grantees in attendance participated in one of the six simultaneous sessions that were proposed and agreed upon prior to the meeting by consensus. >> read more BCRF DOES NOT SOLICIT BY PHONE BCRF is built on donations from individuals, corporations, and organizations for whom lifesaving research is a priority, and we pride ourselves on our relationships with our donors. We do NOT buy mailing lists or engage in telephone solicitations. It has come to our attention that other organizations are using paid fundraisers to make unwanted calls, and identifying themselves as from BCRF. BCRF has not authorized this activity and is trying to stop it.
